Abuja Online Publishers Forum salutes Ajaero on emergence as NLC President

Publishers of news websites in Abuja under the aegies of Abuja Online Publishers Forum(AOPF), have offered a message of congratulations to Joe Ajaero on his emergence as the new President of the Nigerian Labour Congress(NLC).

Ajaero, a former General Secretary of the Nigerian Union of Electricity Employees(NUEE), was elected unopposed as President of NLC, the umbrella body of workers in Nigeria on February 8.

In its message of congratulations jointly signed by Martins Odiete and Sola Akingboye, President and Secretary, AOPF said Ajaero’s election unopposed was clear proof of the confidence in his sterling labour struggle credentials and determination to meet the yearnings of the labour movement in Nigeria.

“AOPF is aware of your proven integrity, hardwork and pedigree as the voice of the voiceless and we look forward to a new vista of progress in Nigeria’s labour struggle under your watch.

“We look forward to a cordial relationship and pledge our commitment to building a formidable partnership with the new NLC leadership as you strive to take the labour movement to greater heights”  the AOPF statement said.
