Former LGA chair, Adenomo leads Obaseki’s victory rally in Ovia South West

Former Vice Chairman of Ovia South West Local Government Area, Hon. Omosede Adenomo, has hailed residents in the LGA for turning out en masse to cast their votes for Governor Godwin Obaseki, noting that the mandate will enable the governor consolidate on successes recorded by his administration in the first term.

At a solidarity rally in Ora Ward, Ovia South West LGA to celebrate the governor’s victory in the September 19, 2020 governorship election, Adenomo urged the people to support the governor in his quest to transform the state and better the wellbeing of Edo people.

The event was graced by youths, women, party and community leaders who came out in their numbers as they danced through various streets in celebration to express their happiness over the governor’s victory.

Adenomo while addressing the supporters assured them that the governor will bring more developmental projects to the area as he is committed to making sure that development gets to every part of the state.

She further commended eligible voters in the area for standing against godfatherism and staying back after voting to defend their votes, adding that “Governor Obaseki will never disappoint the good people of Ora Ward.”

A leader in the LGA, Hon. J .E. Amowie, who praised Adenomo for her resilience, doggedness and commitment to ensuring good governance in the state, urged the governor to prioritise the development of the area in his second term.

He noted that the people are proud of the landmark achievements of the Obaseki-led administration across all sectors of the state and will support him to do more for the people.
