To mark birthday, Mayaki, Ize-Iyamu’s Campaign Media Chief Invites Friends to Interactive Session on good governance

Prince John Mayaki, the Chairman of the Edo APC Media Campaign Council, will play host to family, friends, and associates at an interactive session on Thursday to deepen discourse on ways to install a responsible government in Edo State and vote out the Obaseki-administration to mark his birth anniversary.

Mayaki, a media professional with over two decades of work experience in the new and traditional media, turned a year older on Friday, August 28, but has called for no celebration, urging his loved ones to instead donate to and volunteer for the All Progressives Congress.

He said freeing the people of Edo State from the ruin and shackle of the Obaseki-administration by ensuring the defeat of the Governor in the September 19 Governorship election in Edo State is the best gift anyone can give to him, hence the call for an interactive session with associates to assess and develop new strategies to deliver victory for the APC at the polls.

Invited to the COVID-19 sensitive session are media colleagues in both the online and traditional media, as well as other eligible voters in Edo State.

In his message, Mayaki said he was brimming with happiness and appealed for prayers for the APC to succeed at the polls.

The message read: “Family, friends and folks, it’s my birthday! Like anyone on a special day, I brim with happiness; and more importantly, gratitude to God Almighty, for keeping me alive to see this day; and for protecting most of us from the ravaging COVID-19. Glory be to His name!”

“Still dear friends, beyond thanksgiving, there would be an interactive session on deepening the discourse to installing a responsible and accountable governance. This is because, as you probably know, we are all in the trenches, in a titanic battle, to give our dear Edo State a new lease of life, in the governorship election on September 19.”

“As the Chief media campaign spokesperson for the Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Mallam Gani Audu gubernatorial campaign, I’m immersed in the whole redemptive process, culminating in the September 19 election, after which we hope and pray, with the Edo people’s vote, to be handed a sweeping mandate to free our people from the shackle and ruins of the Godwin Obaseki years.”

“All I ask from you dear friends, therefore, is supportive prayers to be guided by the Almighty, in this special and critical assignment.”

“So, please pray for our success, and the safety of everyone. We will yet celebrate – but that will be after a rousing success on September 19.”

“Till then, please keep safe, social distance, wear a face mask and follow personal hygiene protocols against COVID-19.”

“Keep hope alive. A brand new sunny day beckons for Edo on September 19! May God preserve us all to be part of that celebration!”
