I Can’t Sleep At Night, Says Go Round Striker Oghali

Go Round FC attacker, Shedrack Oghali reveals that he has been having sleepless nights over his inability to score goals for the club this season.

Oghali is yet to score for Go Round FC this term even though he has provided assists, especially the one against Kano Pillars at the KrisDera Hotel Stadium in Omoku.

“It gives me sleepless nights, but I know things will get better,” Oghali told npfl.ng.

“That I haven’t scored yet does not mean I will not score at all. I am expectant that the goals will come eventually for me this season.”

Oghali’s pre-season goals target was 19 and with just seven games to go, he shockingly believes he can still achieve it.

“Nothing is impossible. That has always been my mantra. It is just seven games to go and we all know that luck comes and goes in this game.

“So far I have not been lucky, but the truth is that if my luck comes I could do it. At the end of last season, the top scorer was on 18 goals and I planned to do one better than him. Let us watch and see,” Oghali said.

Oghali who joined Go Round FC from Delta Force two seasons ago, managed five goals in his first term with the club, even though he joined at the half way stage.

In the last football season in the NPFL, he got four goals but is yet to find the net this time, after 12 matchdays.
